How to load data in R

  • Order data for your area of interest in GeoPackage format.

  • Go to the orders page and download the archive when it’s complete.

  • Unpack the archive.

  • Find out a name and a path to the target layer.

  • Install and load the rgdal package for R.

If you are using Windows for correct attributes use this:

Districts <- readOGR(dsn ='KO/data/boundary-polygon-lvl6.shp', use_iconv = TRUE, encoding = "UTF-8")

for other operating systems this should be enough:

Districts <- readOGR(dsn ='KO/data/boundary-polygon-lvl6.shp')
