Saare maakond: maps and data

Basemap

Daily updated vector map that includes 30 data categories: administrative boundaries, road network, building, water features, points of interest, city infrastructure and more. Basemap is built on OpenStreetMap database using special processing.

Elevation

Digital elevation model extracted for a specific area. Geographically referenced regular raster at 30m resolution, elevation contours (topography) with given step and an elevation hillshade image.

Buildings AI

Building and construction footprints extracted using AI from high resolution remote sensing data. The most current results from Microsoft and Google models and buildings from Basemap.

Roads AI

Road centerlines extracted using AI from high resolution remote sensing data. The most current results from Microsoft models and road network from Basemap.

Overture

Vector map from Overture Map Foundation includes over 10 data categories: boundaries, road network, buildings, water features, city infrastructure, land use and land cover types. Overture data is an alternative to Basemap. Features unique data sources from Microsoft, Amazon, TomTom and other companies.

Landcover

The ESRI Land Cover, ESA WorldCover, and Dynamic World datasets are high-resolution global maps that classify land cover into general types (water surfaces, forest cover, built-up areas, and others) with a detail of up to 10 meters.

Tiles

Ready-to-use basemap in raster tiles. Drop them into Leaflet, OpenLayers, MapLibre, or your mobile/embedded app — no style configuration or rendering setup required.

Printable Map

Ready-to-print vector PDF map. Select the desired area directly on the map or from the catalog, adjust the page format, and get the final result.

Places

Places (points of interest, POI) for business analytics and geospatial analysis: names, addresses, and object categories. Can be used to assess locations, analyze service density, study competitive environments, and support geomarketing strategies. Sources: Foursquare, OpenStreetMap and Overture.

Satellite

Seamless coverage of the most actual Sentinel-2 satellite data for your area. We filter out clouds, snow cover and perform color balancing of all images to get a continuously smooth mosaic for your area.

Heritage

Data on Cultural Heritage from Wikimedia Foundation Sources. The dataset contains attributes such as name, address, category, and other parameters. Provided in a suitable format with a ready-to-go GIS project file.
